ITG: Energy

ITG coordinates collaboration of the BRICS NU university participants in education, research and innovation in the field of energy. Its main functions are:

  • to approve of the educational programs and projects, proposed by the participants of the BRICS NU in the field of energy;
  • to elaborate the common approaches towards the content and structures of the BRICS NU educational programs as well as towards QA and credits recognition by the participants of the BRICS NU in the field of energy;
  • to analyse academic mobility among BRICS NU participants in a given filed;
  • to consider the main problems of the BRICS NU and makes proposals to NCCs and IGB on the possible ways of solving the problems;
  • to make proposals to the NCCs on the principles and mechanisms of the students mobility among the BRICS NU university participants;
  • to consider other issues pertaining to the content and the forms of the educational, research and innovation collaboration of the BRICS NU university participants in the field of energy.

The priority areas of collaboration include:

  • Electrical and heat power engineering
  • Energy efficiency, power saving, green technologies
